Free PPWR-EPR Assessment

Build your first EU packaging compliance map.

Tell us where your business is established, how your products reach EU customers, which Member States you serve, how your packaging data is organised and what EPR arrangements already exist. The assessment converts those facts into a country-by-country operational work plan.

01

Company and sales model

Producer status, establishment and the person receiving the packaged product determine which cross-border EPR rules can apply.

If this is not yet clear, use the Producer Status Checker .
02

Select every Member State where the relevant entity currently sells, or intends to make packaged products available.

03

Product and packaging readiness

EPR declarations are only as reliable as the packaging data underneath them. This step checks whether a usable Packaging Ledger can already be built.

Country compliance accounts

One destination market = one operational compliance account.

Keep this work plan and operate it from one account.

Account creation is the point where the public assessment becomes a persistent compliance workspace: country accounts, registrations, representation, packaging data, declarations, regulatory funding and evidence can then be operated together.

Assessment FAQ

Understand what the assessment does — and where verification still matters.

The assessment reviews your producer position, establishment, sales route, destination Member States, packaging-data readiness and existing EPR arrangements, then converts those facts into country-level compliance actions.

Yes. The assessment runs in the browser without account creation. An account becomes useful when you want to retain and operate country compliance accounts over time.

Packaging EPR remains operationally country-specific. Where a current national registration, representation, scheme or reporting rule has not yet been verified in the public dataset, the assessment does not invent a definitive answer.

No. The assessment identifies the work that may be required. Producer registration, PRO or system participation, authorised-representative mandates and regulatory declarations remain separate compliance actions.

No. The public assessment is free. A paid compliance relationship begins only when country services are separately activated.

This assessment is an operational regulatory utility and does not replace verification of the actual transaction structure, national implementation or applicable producer responsibility scheme. Germany, France, Austria and Spain currently use activated national datasets in this assessment. Other Member States remain available for scope planning but may require country-level verification before activation. Last regulatory review: 28 August 2026.
