EU Packaging EPR Pricing without hiding the regulatory bill.

Activate a country once. Pay €1 + applicable VAT for each declared parcel processed through that country's compliance ledger. Pay actual authority, PRO, system and other regulatory charges separately. We do not present regulatory money as Beyoğlu Professional revenue.

Direct answer

How much does Beyoğlu Professional charge?

The standard model is €25 + applicable VAT for each newly activated country, charged once, plus €1 + applicable VAT for each declared parcel processed through the applicable country compliance ledger.

Regulatory EPR contributions and other statutory or third-party amounts are separate. They depend on the Member State, packaging composition, packaging weight, applicable tariff, PRO/system, reporting period and other national rules.

Consequently, the expression “€25 + €1/parcel” describes Beyoğlu Professional's standard service pricing. It does not mean that total EU packaging compliance costs only €25 plus €1 per parcel.

Standard pricing

Three financial lines. Only two are Beyoğlu Professional revenue.

Professional service revenue and money owed to regulators, PROs or EPR systems remain separately identifiable.

Country activation
€25 + applicable VAT

One-time activation for each newly opened Member State

The charge applies when a new country compliance file is opened and configured for the Producer.

It is non-refundable once the activation work has been performed, because the setup work exists independently of later sales volume.

Commercial nature Beyoğlu Professional service fee
Declared parcel
€1 + applicable VAT

Per parcel entering the compliance ledger

The standard charge follows the declared shipment record, not the number of products or SKUs inside the parcel.

One order shipped in three separately declared parcels creates three parcel fees. Several SKUs inside one declared parcel create one parcel fee.

Commercial nature Beyoğlu Professional service fee
Regulatory charges
At cost

Authority, PRO, EPR system and other applicable regulatory amounts

These amounts are calculated according to the applicable country-specific legal, authority or system basis.

They are not presented as Beyoğlu Professional revenue and are not converted into a hidden percentage markup.

Ultimate economic destination Authority / PRO / system / statutory payee
No second activation fee An already activated country does not generate another standard €25 charge merely because a new reporting period begins.
No per-SKU service fee The €1 fee follows the declared parcel, not every product line inside it.
No marketplace multiplier A second marketplace does not create another standard fee for the same declared parcel.
No hidden regulatory margin Regulatory amounts remain separately identifiable from professional-service revenue.
“Applicable VAT” does not mean the same tax result for every customer.

Beyoğlu Professional service fees are stated exclusive of VAT. The VAT treatment shown on the final invoice depends on the contracting entity, customer status, customer location and the tax rules applicable to that supply. Regulatory charges can have a separate VAT or tax treatment determined by the underlying payee and national system.

Service-fee calculator

Calculate the amount paid to Beyoğlu Professional.

Regulatory contributions are deliberately excluded. A service-fee calculator should not fabricate a national EPR tariff that has not been selected and verified.

Beyoğlu service subtotal
€175
+ applicable VAT
Country activation €75
Declared parcel fees €100
Regulatory EPR Not included
This subtotal contains Beyoğlu Professional standard service fees only. Authority charges, Producer register fees, PRO/system contributions, legally required representation-related third-party costs, deposits, environmental levies, taxes and other regulatory amounts are outside this calculator.

What does €25 activate?

A country operating file. Not a fictional all-inclusive regulatory licence.

The €25 charge is deliberately small. It does not replace separate authority, PRO or EPR-system charges.

Standard activation work

What the €25 service line establishes

  • Producer / transaction route entered into the country operating file
  • Applicable country compliance pathway identified
  • Registration route configured
  • EPR AR requirement recorded where relevant
  • PRO / system route recorded
  • Reporting architecture created
  • Regulatory-charge structure separated from Beyoğlu fees
  • Evidence-file structure opened
Not automatically included in €25

Charges and obligations that remain separate

  • Authority registration fee
  • PRO or EPR-system membership fee
  • Minimum annual regulatory contribution
  • National environmental tax or levy
  • Deposit-return-system amounts
  • Legally required third-party professional charges
  • VAT or other taxes applied by the underlying payee
  • Bespoke technical development outside the standard service model
Country activation does not mean “registration approved”.

Activation means Beyoğlu Professional has opened the country operating route under the standard commercial model. Registration becomes legally effective according to the relevant national authority, register, PRO or system process. We do not describe an application, pending file or incomplete mandate as an approved regulatory registration.

How pricing follows the work

Setup happens once. Operating work follows the transactions.

The commercial model mirrors the compliance architecture instead of charging a large flat retainer before transaction volume is known.

01 · Activate Open the country file

Producer, registration, representation, system and reporting routes are configured.

02 · Connect Receive transaction data

An approved API, webhook, structured import or supported workflow supplies shipment information.

03 · Process Create the parcel record

Destination, SKU, packaging profile and quantities are mapped into the country ledger.

04 · Declare Aggregate the reporting period

Parcel records become the factual basis for the national declaration workflow.

Regulatory Charges, Contributions & Taxes

There is no single EU packaging-EPR price.

Regulatory liabilities can be calculated by weight, material, packaging category, units, tariff band, minimum contribution or another national basis.

Regulatory prefunding

Regulatory liabilities should not become Beyoğlu working-capital exposure.

Where a country operating route requires regulatory prefunding, the expected liability is separated from Beyoğlu Professional service revenue. The final amount is reconciled against the actual reporting basis and applicable tariff.

01 Record

Parcel enters the country ledger.

02 Calculate

Applicable tariff logic is applied.

03 Prefund

Expected regulatory amount is made available separately.

04 Reconcile

Reporting period confirms actual liability.

05 Pay

Regulatory money reaches the appropriate payee.

Regulatory money is not intended to sit as unrestricted Beyoğlu operating cash.

Where customer regulatory funds must be prefunded, the production payment architecture is intended to use an appropriate licensed payment service provider, safeguarded client-money account or equivalent legally appropriate third-party structure. The exact payment provider, account architecture, contracting entity and country process must be disclosed before customer regulatory funds are collected through that production route.

Possible charge Nature Typical payee Included in €25? Included in €1? Pricing treatment
Producer registration fee Regulatory / administrative Authority / register No No Separate actual charge where applicable.
PRO / system contribution EPR fulfilment PRO / system operator No No Separate, based on applicable tariff or contractual quotation.
Minimum annual contribution Country / system-specific PRO / system / other payee No No Separate where imposed.
Environmental tax / levy Statutory Tax authority / public body No No Separate according to national law.
Deposit-return amount Deposit / DRS DRS operator / relevant payee No No Kept separate from ordinary packaging EPR.
Beyoğlu country activation Professional service Beyoğlu Professional €25 + applicable VAT.
Beyoğlu parcel operation Professional service Beyoğlu Professional €1 + applicable VAT per declared parcel.
“At cost” does not mean that every country has a publicly published €/kg tariff.

Some national systems publish detailed tariffs. Others depend on the chosen PRO, packaging category, contract, quotation or another applicable mechanism. Where there is no single official national tariff, we do not invent one for a simplified calculator.

What the €1 parcel fee pays for

A compliance transaction. Not a forwarding address.

The value is created by converting commercial shipment data into a controlled national packaging-EPR record.

01 Country attribution

Parcel assigned to the correct destination-country ledger.

02 Producer attribution

Transaction remains linked to the applicable legal Producer.

03 Packaging attribution

SKU and shipment packaging are attached to the transaction.

04 Regulatory accrual

Tariff logic can create expected regulatory exposure.

05 Declaration ledger

Parcel records accumulate into the relevant national reporting period.

06 Evidence trail

Shipment, declaration and payment records remain reconcilable.

07 Marketplace compatibility

Country compliance data can support later marketplace evidence workflows.

08 Cancellation logic

Commercial events are separated from actual reportable movements.

09 Exception routing

New SKU, changed packaging or new legal situation can be reviewed.

Worked examples

What the standard service model looks like in practice.

These figures calculate Beyoğlu Professional service fees. They do not estimate the country-specific regulatory bill.

First market

1 new country + 50 parcels

€75 + VAT

€25 country activation + €50 parcel fees.

Regulatory charges: additional, according to the applicable national route.

Multi-country seller

5 new countries + 500 parcels

€625 + VAT

€125 country activation + €500 parcel fees.

Regulatory charges: additional and country-specific.

Countries already active

5 existing countries + 500 parcels

€500 + VAT

No second activation charge.

500 declared parcels × €1, plus applicable regulatory charges.

Marketplace-neutral pricing

The sales channel does not multiply the standard parcel fee.

The compliance ledger follows the Producer, country and declared parcel. It does not create a separate standard tariff simply because the order came from another marketplace.

Amazon Orders can enter the same country ledger used for other channels.
Etsy Marketplace source is retained, but the parcel remains a country compliance event.
eBay Account verification does not alter the standard parcel price.
Other marketplaces Approved API, export or structured import can feed the same model.
Own webstore / B2B Direct sales belong in the Producer-level country total as applicable.
Commerce → Compliance

Use the best authorised transaction-data route available.

Automation reduces repetitive manual work. It does not justify inventing APIs a marketplace has not published.

Native API

Used where approved production access exposes required fields.

Webhook

Event-driven ingestion where supported.

CSV / XLSX

Structured import where no suitable API exists.

ERP / OMS

Existing commerce stack can provide the controlled transaction source.

Parcel count

Drives the standard transaction service fee.

Exception review

New legal situations stop blind automation.

Bespoke connector pricing is not invented on this page.

If a marketplace, ERP, OMS or proprietary system requires custom integration work beyond the standard supported operating routes, the technical scope must first be defined. Any separate development charge, if applicable, is agreed before work begins. No universal bespoke-connector price is represented here where none has been adopted.

Why can the price be this low?

The legal analysis is serious. Repetitive administration should be standardised.

Low transaction pricing should come from process architecture and automation. It should not come from hiding regulatory money somewhere else in the invoice.

Standardise Country engines

National operating logic is structured rather than researched from zero for every parcel.

Reuse Packaging master

Known SKU and packaging data are reused until a controlled change occurs.

Automate Routine transactions

Known shipments can move from commerce data into national ledgers without repetitive re-entry.

Escalate Actual exceptions

Human review is concentrated on events that can change the compliance result.

Zero-sales scenario

No parcels means no parcel fee. It can still mean regulatory cost.

The €25 country activation remains completed, non-refundable work.

If no declared parcel enters the country ledger, there is no €1 parcel fee for a parcel that did not exist.

However, a country, authority, Producer register, PRO or system can impose fixed, minimum, registration, supervision or similar amounts even where sales volume is very low or zero.

Pricing FAQ

The commercial questions to resolve before activation.

How much is country activation?

The current standard charge is €25 + applicable VAT for each newly activated country. It is a one-time, non-refundable professional-service charge once the activation work has been performed.

Do I pay €25 every year for the same country?

No. The standard country-activation fee is not an annual recurring activation charge. An already activated country does not generate another standard €25 charge merely because a new calendar year or reporting period begins.

How much is the parcel fee?

The current standard charge is €1 + applicable VAT for each declared parcel processed through the applicable country compliance ledger.

Do I pay €1 for every SKU inside a parcel?

No. The standard fee is per declared parcel, not per SKU. Several products shipped together in one declared parcel create one standard parcel fee.

What if one customer order is split into three parcels?

Three separately declared parcels enter the compliance ledger. The standard Beyoğlu Professional fee is therefore €3 + applicable VAT.

Is the €1 parcel fee my regulatory EPR contribution?

No. The €1 charge is a Beyoğlu Professional service fee. Regulatory EPR contributions are separate and are determined by the applicable authority, PRO, system or national legal mechanism.

Is VAT already included in the €25 and €1 prices?

No. The prices are displayed exclusive of VAT. “Applicable VAT” is used because the tax treatment depends on the actual transaction, contracting entity, customer status and customer location. The final invoice reflects the VAT treatment applicable to that supply.

Does Beyoğlu add a margin to the regulatory EPR contribution?

Regulatory EPR money is presented separately from Beyoğlu Professional revenue. The underlying authority, PRO, system or legally required third-party amount is not disguised as part of the €1 parcel fee.

Why can the regulatory amount not be shown as one EU-wide price?

Because there is no single EU-wide packaging-EPR tariff. National costs can depend on material, weight, packaging type, units, minimum charges, chosen PRO/system and other country-specific rules. Where no single national tariff exists, Beyoğlu does not invent one.

Why might regulatory money need to be prefunded?

Regulatory liabilities can accumulate before the authority or PRO payment deadline arrives. Where the operating route requires prefunding, sufficient regulatory funds need to be available before the liability becomes due. This prevents the customer's regulatory obligation from being financed from Beyoğlu working capital.

Does Beyoğlu hold my regulatory money in its ordinary operating bank account?

That is not the intended production architecture. Where customer regulatory funds must be prefunded, the structure is intended to use an appropriate licensed PSP, safeguarded client-money account or equivalent legally appropriate third-party arrangement. The actual provider and payment structure must be disclosed for the relevant live service before funds are collected through that route.

Does selling through Amazon, Etsy or eBay create an extra standard Beyoğlu marketplace fee?

Not under the standard pricing model shown on this page. The parcel fee follows the declared parcel. Marketplace verification and marketplace transaction source do not automatically create another standard per-parcel charge.

Does API integration reduce or increase the standard €1 parcel fee?

No alternative standard parcel price is stated here for API-originated transactions. A declared parcel remains a declared parcel whether the underlying transaction data enters through an approved API, webhook, structured import or another supported operating route.

Is custom connector development included in the €25 country activation?

Not automatically. Where a bespoke connector or technical implementation is genuinely required, the technical scope must first be defined. Any separate development charge, if applicable, is agreed before that work begins. This page does not publish an invented standard connector fee.

What happens if I activate a country but make no sales there?

The €25 activation remains completed, non-refundable work. No declared parcels means no €1 parcel fees for those non-existent parcels. However, the national authority, register, PRO or system may still impose fixed, minimum or registration-related costs.

Who actually contracts with me?

Beyoğlu Professional is the public-facing service brand. The legal entity entering the applicable customer contract, regulatory mandate or country-specific representation relationship is identified explicitly in the relevant commercial and regulatory documentation.

Assessment before activation

Pay for the countries you actually need. Not for an imaginary EU-wide package.

Start with the Producer, sales routes and destination Member States. We determine which country files actually need to be opened before routine compliance operations begin.

Regulatory basis and scope note: Beyoğlu Professional's €25 country activation and €1 declared-parcel prices are commercial service fees, not statutory tariffs. Packaging EPR financial obligations arise under the applicable EU and Member-State framework, including Regulation (EU) 2025/40 and the EPR framework in Directive 2008/98/EC. Article 45 of Regulation (EU) 2025/40 also provides that, where the relevant legal conditions are satisfied, specified financial obligations may be performed by an online-platform provider on behalf of the Producer on the basis of written mandate.
